Ladies, it's that time ! Time to step your shoe game up ! LOL. No seriously, I'm a shoe fanatic so you will see many posts on shoes. I can't get enough. You can tell a lot about a woman from the shoes she is wearing. Shoes can show confidence, style, the ability to take risks, whether you are boring, unwilling to take chances, or just don't know how to dress yourself. LOL. Shoes can change an entire outfit around. Putting on a pair of jeans and a plain shirt is not a problem at all......if you have the right shoes ! In fact, your basic ensemble will help shoes to stand out. Certain shoes are so bold that you have to let them stand alone. You can't wear something overpowering with these kinds of shoes. Keri Hilson....my kindred spirit !

I remember when I first heard Keri Hilson on a track with Timbaland titled "The Way You Are". I loved it and I loved the video ! I just liked her style. So you can imagine I was pretty excited when she released her own singles. I couldn't wait to buy her first cd after hearing "Turnin' Me On". I was totally sold when I saw the cover of the cd and Keri was wearing leopard print leggings. Now with her most recent cd, she has done it again, rocking leopard print nails ! This is the reason I still purchase cds ! I love the album covers and artwork. So I started off with the idea to just post her two album covers. I've already done a post showing her video for "Breaking Point" in which she was also rocking leopard print so there is no need for that. However, I did an image search on Yahoo ! and saw that Keri rocks leopard print A LOT ! Yay ! I love her even more! She is truly my kindred spirit ! Keri, I love you .....and I'm also from the "A" ...not that you will ever read this ! lol

Nicki Minaj in Leopard Print !

Ok honestly, I was not a fan of Nicki Minaj for a long time. Well....at least not openly. LOL. Secretly, I liked her audacity and boldness, her willingness to be different, her animation, her antics, and her crazy style. However, I thought she was incredibly shallow. But then I bought her cd, and there are many different styles on it and shows other sides of her. So now, I'm ok with saying I am a Nicki fan. Not just because of her music but because she represents originality and being yourself. Mainly, I think that she is smart, maybe not booksmart (although she could be) but I mean she is smart because she knows how to market herself. So...say what you want about her but she is killing it right now. She probably has just as much haters as she does fans but hey, she keeps controversy going so as long as people are talking, she is making money. Anyhoo, I did a post on Nicki because she did something I just cannot hate on....she rocked a leopard print catsuit at a Christmas concert in NYC. Check out the pics below.
